your makeup trial

Let’s find you a look you love…

Having a makeup trial before the wedding is always a good idea. It lets us try out looks until you find the one you absolutely love. Which means much less stress on the day of the wedding.

At the makeup trial, we chat about the makeup you wear on a daily basis (if any!) and what makeup you’d like for your wedding. We go through any images/pictures you’ve been inspired by and try out looks until we find THE one that you absolutely love. I document every product chosen and take a photo of the final makeup so I can easily recreate the look on the day.

The trial usually take around two hours.

By the way, if you need a hairstylist, please let me know as I have regular hairstylists that I work with who are AMAZING! I'd be more than happy to recommend some for you.

What to expect…

I always arrive early enough to ensure we can get your makeup (and the makeup for your friends and family) done in good time and to make the process as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. If there are quite a few people wanting makeup then I tend to bring along one of my regular assistants. I don’t want to have any of your friends or family having to have their makeup done at 6am!

Having done weddings for the last seven years, and also having been on teams at fashion week, I’m pretty unflappable under pressure and always remain calm and relaxed.

I will arrive 15 minutes ahead of our scheduled start time to set up. I allot an hour for your makeup and 45 minutes for other members of the wedding party. Once everyone’s makeup is done, I do final touch-ups and provide you with a touch-up bag in case you want to reapply any lipstick or powder.
